Oak Ridge to receive influx of $755M in stimulus money
OAK RIDGE - News of stimulus money coming to Oak Ridge is getting to be old hat, but Tuesday's announcement was a doozy.
The Department of Energy confirmed that Oak Ridge facilities will receive an additional $755 million in funds to jump-start environmental cleanup projects and create about 1,500 new jobs.
